Ferlo has made the first continuous chilling equipment for 3kg and 5kg tins. Conservas Taboada turned to Ferlo for this season’s tomato campaign in which they produced over 1 million tins of tomato products.
The technical characteristics of the equipment are:
- Dimensions: 3000 x 15000 mm
- Stainless steel construction
- Production up to 70 tpm for 5 kg tins
This tunnel makes it possible to chill tomato sauce with a final temperature of 50ºC. A high number of products can be chilled in a reduced amount of space which gives a great advantage.
